Rejoining the race, the Ducati rider carved through the field while setting the fastest lap of the race, recovering to finish 10th. Andrew Lee completed a perfect weekend in the Superbike Cup, leading the class in both races aboard his Real Steel Honda. Lee finished 10th overall on Saturday and 11th on Sunday to record his sixth consecutive Cup victory, extending his championship lead to 84 points over Carl Soltisz heading into the next round. In the Superbike points, it's Scholtz on 145 to Kelly's 140, with Beach up to third on 111. preserving his championship lead by five points, 145-140. "What an incredible race. Like, by far, my best race, I think ever, not just in Superbike, but just ever," Kelly beamed on the podium. "I'm glad I was able to make it to the podium places with a few laps to go, but at that point, I knew that I had a chance to fight for the win, and it was definitely a close one at the end, but Mathew [Scholtz], we know he's a tough, tough racer. He closed the door, but I'm glad I was able to put the front wheel at least in the right spot to be able to keep us both safe and get my second win of the season." "I've looked up to many of these competitors. I never thought I'd be battling them, and to win at my home track in front of all my friends and family and my girlfriend is so special.
