2024 Pro Motocross Champion
Chase Sexton missed round three
at Thunder Valley after crashing
during Friday's press-day riding
session. The team says he did
not line up "due to injuries" from
the crash. Sexton also added,
"Knee feels cooked but will get
it checked out when I get home.
Incident was out of my control,
and feeling like a passenger was
very scary. I'm just very lucky to be
somewhat okay, and the man up
above was looking over me."
J COOP SIDELINED
Justin Cooper was another rider
unable to make the 450MX grid.
He's still recovering after crash-
ing in the second moto at Hang-
town last week. "It'll be my first
race missed on the 450 and first
outdoor that I've not shown up
to since turning pro at the end of
2017," Cooper said. "Overall, I'm
feeling good, cycled this morning,
and my goal is to get my body
healthy and return after the break
at RedBud."
