transplant Lucas Coenen. Jett
weathered each one of the storms
and led every lap despite not
being comfortable on the track
and struggling to "find his flow"
in moto one. He fired back with a
dominant ride in the second moto
and never let anyone get within
three seconds of his rear wheel.
Another 1-1 sweep sees Jett
two, I got a pretty solid start! I ran
third for a while, then drifted back to
seventh. Overall, it was a much better
day today. The bike is feeling a lot
better for me, the body is as well, and
now we move on to High Point."
14 DYLAN FERRANDIS
9TH (8-9) 450MX
Dylan Ferrandis moved to fifth in the
overall point standings with another
top 10 result. "It was a tough day," said
Ferrandis. "With this bike, we know
the strong points and the weak points.
Like last weekend in Hangtown, the
bike was good, and today it was dif-
ficult for this chassis. I came into the
weekend with a lot of confidence be-
cause we made improvements coming
into the weekend, and this weekend
I was lacking pace and struggling on
the downhills. We changed some stuff
between the motos. In the first moto I
had a great start but was fighting the
bike a bit, so we changed the shock
for moto two, and we found some-
thing. I was more comfortable, but I
didn't have a good start."
