Jorge Prado lost serious ground
in the championship hunt after a
mechanical issue left him with a DNF
in the first moto. "The issue in moto
one while running in fourth place
really cost us, which was especially
true knowing my gate pick was going
to end up being on the far outside for
moto two," Prado said. "That wasn't
good for me, but we did what we
could to salvage points, and all I can
do is be my very best for the remain-
der of the rounds and see where we
can end up overall."

6TH (5-7) 450MX
RJ Hampshire improved one posi-
tion from last week but just missed
a top five overall. He's now fourth in
the championship standings. "It was
another solid weekend," Hampshire
said. "I was around that top five for
most of the day again. My second
moto start was a little better, but I still
need to start farther toward the front.
I was battling all day long—ate a lot
of roost—but it's a solid start to the
season with four good motos."
