Updated styling includes a slimmer, more compact front number plate, new two-piece side covers, a sharper rear fender, and new graphics. The 2027 YZ250F will be avail - able from dealers in September in Team Yamaha Blue for $9099, and a Monster Energy Edition will also be available for $9299. The 2027 YZ450F is virtually unchanged and will be available in July with a $10,299 MSRP and the Monster Energy Edition with a $10,499 MSRP. The Yamaha YZ450FX adopts the updated design of the YZ450F. Yamaha says, "The 2027 YZ450FX's power character is focused on smoother delivery with more controllable low-rpm torque, making it easier to ride in technical conditions. The suspen - sion characteristics have been specifically optimized for the longer rides of competitive cross- country racing, providing more initial responsiveness, comfort, and compliance over slippery, rocky and root-filled terrain. Over - all, the new YZ450FX is easier to ride faster and longer, especially on extremely technical trails." The 2027 Yamaha YZ450FX will be available in September with a $10,499 MSRP. The rest of the YZ and YZ-FX lines return in full force but with few changes. CN a new disc spring and integrates the primary gear and basket into a single steel unit. The result, Yamaha says, is a more compact, lightweight and durable assem - bly "that yields smoother, more consistent engagement, requires less effort and eliminates the need for on-track adjustments," says Yamaha.
