"Qualifying was okay, but I improved as the day developed, which was encouraging," he said. "My first-moto crash meant that I had to salvage as much as I could, so then in moto two, I was up there in the fight to finish third, which makes me excited heading into next weekend." 43 LUX TURNER 7TH (8-6) 250MX Lux Turner turned some heads by beating several of the factory riders and finishing seventh overall. "I'm pumped to start off the opener like that—that felt good," he said. "Awesome day, so proud of myself. All the long days leading up to this paid off. Going to get back to work this week and be ready for next weekend." MYOWNRACE Hunter Lawrence (96) and Jorge Prado (26) were in a league of their own in both motos.
