summer, and with the Spanish
rider now entering his second
season of Pro Motocross and
reunited with the Red Bull
KTM Factory Racing team, he
looked like the same rider who
himself as the main contender
for the number one plate.
"I feel awesome," Lawrence
said. "It was a great day. P1,
a perfect day. On top in every
session. I'm just fired up. I can't
really ask for anything more."
Jorge Prado might've been
the surprise of the day, finish

Ryder DiFrancesco earned his first-
ever moto podium, but a 19th in race
one put him 10th overall. "Qualifying
was okay, but I improved as the day
developed, which was encouraging,"
he said. "My first-moto crash meant
that I had to salvage as much as I
could, so then in moto two, I was
up there in the fight to finish third,
which makes me excited heading
into next weekend."

7TH (8-6) 250MX
Lux Turner turned some heads by
beating several of the factory riders
and finishing seventh overall. "I'm
pumped to start off the opener
like that—that felt good," he said.
"Awesome day, so proud of myself.
All the long days leading up to this
paid off. Going to get back to work
this week and be ready for next
weekend."

Hunter Lawrence (96) and
Jorge Prado (26) were in a league
of their own in both motos.
