"I just tried to put in some
good laps and get a little bit
of breathing room," Mumford
said. "I'm definitely using this as
testing time. I haven't raced an
outdoor since 2023, so I kind of
had no idea where I'd fit in and
I wanted to knock the cobwebs
off and get ready for the actual
pro season."
The BarX Yamaha duo of Lux
Turner and Parker Ross traded
spots in the two motos, finish
-
ing second and third, respec-
tively. Both Yamaha youngsters
pushed toward the front and put
themselves in podium territory.
Turner crashed in race one, but
a 3-2 combo netted him $6000,
while Ross's 2-3 pocketed him
$4500 for the day.
Dilan Schwartz finished fourth
overall behind his BarX Yamaha
teammates with 4-5 results.
Derek Kelley got better as the
day wore on and rounded out the
top five with a 6-4.
