BigR Racing's Jared Lowe enjoyed
arguably his finest night as a pro,
finishing either first or second
throughout practice, qualifying and
his heat before claiming fourth in the
main. However, equaling his career-
best result wasn't the goal—finishing
on the podium was, and that seemed
all too possible when Lowe took the
early lead. Still, the fourth served as
a confidence booster after getting
the season off to a bit of a slow start.
He said, "All day long I felt good, and
even in the main, even though it didn't
go quite how we wanted it to. I was
looking for that first podium. But it
was pretty cool; I led my first-ever laps,
and I stayed pretty calm underneath
the helmet, which I was proud of. And
at the end of the day, P4 ties my best
result, so I'm not upset at all about it."
