tions in one turn and grabbed his best result of the year, the sixth podium of his career. Cooper was the most consistent of anyone on track in terms of lap times, and his consistency was certainly rewarded with a podium position. "With 20 [minutes] plus one [lap] out there with these 450s, it gets really demanding," Cooper said. "I just put together solid laps and got a little gift from Webb continued his podium streak with second place. The de - fending champion won in Seattle the past two years and looked to carry that momentum into the main event as he led the entire first half of the race. Webb looked great in the early laps and held the top spot over both Tomac and Ken Roczen. The number one looked comfortable in the tricky conditions but lost the lead to Tomac right at the halfway point. From there, it seemed like Webb was playing it safe, as he lost the tow to Tomac and settled in nicely for the number-two spot. This is Webb's third podium in three weeks and sees him inch - ing his way back into this title fight and gaining more valuable points in the championship. He's now tied for third overall, 11 points down from the leader. "The track was gnarly," Webb said. "It's always gnarly here, but this [track], having to hit the rhythms, they're pretty big. The team says Prado "will undergo further medical evaluation this week." HAMPSHIRE HURT RJ Hampshire was not on the grid for the second week in a row after fracturing his foot in a train- ing crash earlier in the week. This injury will keep him off the bike as he sits out the upcoming rounds to focus on his recovery. 250SX WEST POINTS BATTLE With Haiden Deegan extend- ing his points lead in the 250SX West title chase, the race for second place is on. Max Anstie currently holds the spot with 108 points, but his Star Racing team- mate, Michael Mosiman, sits just one point back in third and is tied with Ryder DiFrancesco. Levi Kitchen sits fifth overall at 101, and Cameron McAdoo is still close in sixth at 97 points. Briefly... I saved the best for last, of course. I had my best start and my best ride there. I cleaned up some lines and did some dif - ferent jump combinations. Just typical Seattle. One of the tough- est we have had all year."
