and apologized, and I have no
hard feelings towards it at all; I
think it was a little bit of a [brief
mental lapse]. It's just unfortu-
nate with situations like that.
We pulled the shorter end of
the stick until I got going again,
and then the main was over. We
didn't get the best result, but
we're only 11 points down."
Chase Sexton rounded out the
top five. "Today was a bit frustrat

ing for me," Sexton said. "I expect
to be at the front right now, but
we're not there yet. This week we
worked on starts a lot, and it paid
off, as we saw today. Right now,
I'm headed back to Florida, and
the team is going to come out
ly. Not how I would have wanted
the night to go, but we're fourth
and still have the red plate."

charge in the middle of the
race and [among the top three
riders] we were all bunched up

said. "But the track did dete

of bad laps there towards the
end, and I made a mistake [and
I] couldn't double before the
whoops section. That just cost
me and allowed [Lawrence] to
get way too close to me, and he
pulled a move [that put us both
on the ground]. He came over
[Lawrence and Roczen]. Some

times you've got to stay in it, and
that's what we did tonight. Really
pumped to get back on the box."
Lawrence still held on for
fourth place despite a big crash
with Roczen. The points leader
was coming through the field
and looking to pass for third
when his race took a turn for the
worse in the sand section. He
still leads the championship by
one point over Tomac.
"I was coming through and
had a good pace," Lawrence
said. "I feel like an idiot. I jumped
on the inside and was already
going down and got Kenny in

volved. That just sucked, honest-
