Honda HRC Progressive Hunter Lawrence finished just off the podium in fourth after battling Jason Anderson for the entire main event. Lawrence pulled up to the back of Prado in the closing laps, but it was too little too late for the lone Honda HRC rider. "That was the best A1 to date for me," Lawrence said. "I said to myself I'd be content with a top five, which would be leaps and bounds better than previ - ous years, but I really wanted to get the win. Still working and chipping away, but we're in a great spot to make progress where we want to. I'm okay with ended up on the podium. I did some very good laps, got a bit of a gap, and I was just controlling, and that was it." Unfortunately for Prado, his KTM failed the post-race sound test, and he was docked three championship points by the AMA. His third-place result, however, still stands. KTM and Honda had the most bikes in the main, with four each; Suzuki and Kawasaki each had three, and Yamaha, Husqvarna and Ducati each had two. Briefly... Two 30-something racers, Tomac (33) and Roczen (31), went 1-2.
