Then I hit a tree, and when I fell over; I got in such a weird poai' tion that the handlebar vvas inside my boot and my foot was over the other side, and I couldn't get out. I ended up havint to take my boot off to get the handlebar out so I could go. After that, I cautht back up to the Suys in front of me and was up in third, but another series of crashes caused me !o drop back. "l went through a big mud puddle, and I must have got water in somewhere and drowned out, so I had to sit for l0 to l5 minutes before I could tet it started," Pearson reponed.
