Tedesco Out Te3m Makita Suzuki's lvan Tedesco was scheduled to undergo shoulder surgery on Thursday, May 18, with the procedure and recovery preventing the Californian from taking part in the AMA Motocross Nationals, which are set to begin with the Hangown National on May 21, according to his publicist. Tedesco iniured his ritht rhoulder in a heat-race crash in the Supercross series finale in Las Vegas. Thouth he won his semi and finished seventh in the mai. event, Tedesco hasn't b€en able to ride since then. "lt felt oka),, in the semi, but I tithtened up and 8ot really sore before the mdn event," Tedesco said in the release. "l could barely move m)/ shoulder and my wife had to put my iersey on for me. Doc G. really worked on me and got me loose enouth to race. And che reason I raced at all was to pro- tect fourth overall in the championship. I could- n't move my shoulder at all after the race, and lfound out today [Friday, May 12] that lwill need surgery !o repair torn li8aments in my shoulder.
