Nicoietti's race in the 125.c Expert class was equally impressive. When the gate droPPed, Kawasaki rider Jesse Festenstine and SuzukF mounred Clint Johnson battled with Phil Nicoletti on the way to the first turn. Festenstine came out on top, but Nicoletti chased him down and took over the lop spot by rhe end of l+ two. New lersey favorite Barry Ca6ten made his way throuSh the pack and up to second place on his Suzuki, bua Nicolettr was too stronS, and the Honda rider earned his second viclory in as many races. ln what turned out to be his final race of the day (due to the aforementioned inclement weather), Nicoletti llnished second, behind Rocktar Suzuki's .lason Lawrence in the 250cc Expert.lass. Suzuki rider Frank Lettieri put on an impressive display in the rain. He handled the wet tra.k well and rode to victory in both the 85c. (12-ll) and Supermini class€s. Earlier in the day. Lettieri grabbed the holeshot and led every lap to win d|€ khoolboy class, ahead of f.aw?saki riders Matt Babbitt and Colton Harrison, who finished second and 6ird, resPectivev. Alex Bogdanov rode his Honda (o the win rn the Over 25 Amateur and Over 30 Amateur races, while Cobra rider Ric.i R-andanella picked up wins in the 50cc (4-6) Stock and 50cc (4-6) Oil-lnie.ted classes.
