Woods, on the other hand, stayed home for his son's binhday, then casually drove just a couple hours to Hollister, looking to get his ,irst maior win of the year for his new team. When all was said and done Sunday, it was Woods who ended up following the riSht path to the victory circle, Woods, on the Team Green Kawasaki KX450E was in the right spot at the right time to pounce when Dietrich. who had led the majoriq/ of the race, crashed on the white-flag lap, which was enough for Woods to take the lead and eventual win. lt marked Woods' first win on his new team. as well as his first win in an Ai4A National. Even thouSh Dietrich was unable to match his oPening- round win in Arizona, he still held on for second place and added a few more points to his series lead.
