P204 Cycle News finished o 1975 with a photo of something we all like to do, and that's getting away on a motorcycle; in this case it was in the woods of Colorado... Eighteen-year-old Tony DiStefano continued his winning ways in the Trans- AMA Series at Anaheim Stadium... We featured part one of "The Flight of the Ugly Duckling," a story about turning a Suzuki TM400 motocrosser into a café racer out of parts found around the house... We tested Honda's MR-250 enduro bike. Forty years ago, issue 50 included a Buyer's Guide and featured an interview with road racer Freddie Spencer, who was pictured on the cover along with our Honda XR350R test bike crossing a river in Colorado... We featured a story about the early days of motocross called "The Brawn Boys: When Motorcycles Were Iron And Goggles Were Glass"... We interviewed Willie G. Davidson and visited the Harley-Davidson factory in York, Pennsylvania... We interviewed AMA Formula Two National champ Don Greene. Forty years ago, issue 50 included a Buyer's Guide and featured an interview with road racer Freddie Spencer cover along with our crossing a river in Colorado...
