Beta Launches Fantasy Fundraiser B eta Motorcycles USA is hosting a special fan-engagement and charita- ble event, the Fantasy GNCC Fundraiser, at the season-ending Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, Indiana, on October 26. The fantasy competition will raise funds for the Road 2 Recovery Founda - tion, the nonprofit organization dedi- cated to offering financial and emo- tional support to injured professional action sports athletes. Participants will have the chance to predict the outcome of the morning Sportsman A race, which will feature a select group of Beta's top riders, race team personnel and brand am- bassadors. The fantasy event will center on the two-hour Sportsman A race on Sunday, October 26. The Beta USA lineup for the event includes Zach Osborne, Zane Roberts, Kyle McDonal, Brayden Nolette, Dennis LeBlanc, Carlen Gardner, Brian Marok and Rodney Smith. For a $20 entry fee, participants will fill out a form to predict the finishing order of the Beta riders against each other (first through eighth). Players will receive points equal to their predicted position (e.g., predicting a rider to finish third earns three points). The player with the highest total score wins. The tiebreaker will go to the entry that was submitted first. The funds raised from the Fantasy Fundraiser will be split evenly: 50 percent of all proceeds will be donated directly to the Road 2 Recovery Foundation; 50 percent will be awarded to the winner(s) of the Fantasy GNCC Fundraiser. "The Ironman GNCC is one of the most exciting races of the year, and it's the perfect backdrop for a little friendly competition that also supports an in - credible cause," said Bryan Wunsch, Beta USA marketing manager. "Road 2 Re- covery does vital work for our industry, and we're proud to turn this fun fantasy contest into real support for the founda- tion and our athletes." Fans are encouraged to submit mul- tiple entries to increase their chances of winning while maximizing their contribu - tion to the Road 2 Recovery Foundation. The deadline for all entries is noon PST on Friday, October 24. CN VOLUME ISSUE OCTOBER , P33 Beta's Fantasy Fundraiser at the Ironman GNCC benefits the Road 2 Recovery program. Beta plans to make this an annual event.
