The Italian rekindled some of his old magic to take a dominant double vic- tory in Japan and rode like the former champion he is for the first time in 2025. As he said, "Better late than never." Yet Bagnaia's comeback did little to take away from the main story at hand. Marc Marquez (Lenovo Ducati) wrapped up his ninth World title and seventh in the premier class thanks to a cruise to second place on Sunday. In truth, the 34-year-old knew he just needed to avoid mistakes as early as Friday when brother Alex (Gresini Ducati) struggled to get his GP24 dialed in. RETURNS IS
