ROUND 17 / SEPTEMBER 26-28, 2025
MOBILITY RESORT MOTEGI / HAGA DISTRICT, JAPAN
ROAD RACE I FIM MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
P88
36 JOAN MIR
4TH/3RD MOTOGP
"After what we have been through, to
get this first podium especially here
in Japan, it is really special," Mir said.
"It has been a long time for myself
and Honda to have a moment like
this and sometimes you struggle a bit
with motivation, but this confirms that
everything we do is worth it and I am
really excited to go to Lombok now,
we need to continue this moment."
42 ALEX RINS
18TH/18TH MOTOGP
"I felt quite good during the first part
of the race," Rins said. "This time, I
had a proper start, I recovered some
positions on the first laps, and then I
was behind Aldeguer, which dis-
turbed my rhythm a bit. As soon as I
overtook him, I had a massive stoppie
in corner 11, so I went wide and lost
some positions. I tried to manage
the drop of the tires, but I couldn't do
more than I did. Overall, it was a bet-
ter weekend than the previous one:
we're a bit closer and I could get in
some overtakes."
MYOWNRACE
Smoke coming from
Bagnaia's exhaust had him
skating with a black flag
and disqualification, but it
held together long enough
for him to take his long-
awaited win.
