DEEGAN'S LAST 250
RACE … SORT OF
This was Haiden Deegan's last
race in Pro Motocross in the
250MX division. It's already been
announced he'll race full-time in
the 450MX class next summer.
However, we will still see Deegan
compete in the 250 class for the
SMX Playoffs as well as MX2
(250cc) for the Motocross of Na-
tions at Ironman Raceway. He will
also compete in the 250SX class
in Supercross next year.

had none of its riders actually
cross the finish line at the last
race. Their 450MX riders, Chase

and their 250cc riders, Tom Vialle
and Julien Beaumer, didn't make
it to the end at Budds Creek. Tom
Vialle had two strong starts in
the first 250 moto (including the
restart) but later faded back to
11th and opted not to line up for
moto two. Beaumer crashed in the
second moto and was the cause
of the red-flag restart. "Tom pulled
two fantastic starts in moto one
after the first race was red-flagged
and was running out front before
he made a mistake and fell down,"
said team manager Ian Harrison.
"From there, as the moto went on,
he seemed to lose pace, while
Julien was the opposite, as he
gained speed towards the end.
After the race, Julien requested
a couple of bike changes, while
Tom decided he would sit out race
two after lacking confidence in
his setup, so he called it a day. In
the second race, Julien ended up
having a big wreck right in front of
