Tadman led early, only to give way to a railing Saathoff. However, Drane dug down deep and reeled Saathoff back in. He blasted by just as they hit slower riders and took advantage of the chaos to grab his fourth victory of the season. Tadman held strong to claim yet another podium, his fourth of an abbreviated season. Turner Racing Honda's Trevor Brunner and Hannum's H-D's Bradon Pfanders rounded out the top five on Monday, while 1st Impressions Racing's Chad Cose joined Brunner in doing so on Tuesday. ADVENTURE- TRACKERS The Jackpine Gypsies Short Track marked the return of Pro- gressive AFT's AdventureTrack- ers class, which debuted in a one- off at last season's Sturgis TT. This year, the class will battle for a quick, four-race champion- ship, the first half of which took place on Monday and Tuesday, August 4-5, in Sturgis. Monday's win went to a charging Jesse Janisch on the WFOracingonline.com Harley- Davidson Pan America 1250. He did so by blasting his 500-plus- pound machine past the Big Momma and Daddy Deep Pock - ets-backed Suzuki V-Strom 1050 of Dan Bromley, who again fell just short of AdventureTrackers AFT SINGLES In Monday's Mission Triple Chal- lenge, AFT Singles title leader Tom Drane was riding sick. And he looked it in main event one in which he finished an unchar- acteristic sixth. Somehow, the Estenson Racing Yamaha rider bounced back to win main event two. Drane wouldn't have his equivalent of the Michael Jor- dan flu game on Monday, how- ever, as he got aced by his great riv al, RWR's Chase Saathoff, in main event three. Third went to the always en- tertaining rookie, Kage Tadman, who put together a bounce-back 4-2-3 night after a couple of disappointing rounds. The "flu game" came the next night. said it three times now, but it's not who I am. But I'm happy to fight through that. I'm proud of who I am. I looked Dallas in the eyes and said, 'I messed up, dude.' That's not what I wanted to happen. It was unintentional, whether they believe me or not. I apologize for that. I hope that people don't look down on me too bad about that. That was not cool; it's Short Track racing, and there's no excuse." While the results stretched out his advantage to 11 points, it also promised a title fight that would be all the more heated as it heads down the homestretch. No one would have to stew too long about the results, how - ever, with the Jackpine Gypsies Super TT scheduled to take place just three days later. ROUNDS 10-11 / AUGUST 4-5, 2025 JACKPINE GYPSIES MOTORCYCLE CLUB / STURGIS, SOUTH DAKOTA FLAT TRACK I AMA PROGRESSIVE AMERICAN FLAT TRACK P78 Sturgis marked the return of the AdventureTrackers class.
