young Australian for the overall since Hangtown 2024. "It was nice to get a win today," Sexton said. "It's been a while since I've won a race— since the Salt Lake City Super - cross—so it's good to get that monkey off my back and go into the break with momentum. My speed was better today, and I'm stoked to click off a win. I was pretty far off last weekend, so I went to work this week to improve. I knew I was good at this track and had the ability to win here. I got great starts, rode well, and made it happen." "I had a mishap in moto one, getting landed on while leading, which wasn't ideal, but we did what we could to recover. The second moto was better. I got a good start and had some pace early, but I felt like I could've done some things dif- ferently with line choice and racecraft to keep up there and flow the track a little better." MYOWNRACE 47 LEVI KITCHEN 11TH (9-10) 250MX Washougal native Levi Kitchen missed the top 10 overall despite his 9-10 finishes. "Qualifying was decent, but in moto one I got a bad start, probably around 25th or 20th, and worked my way up to about ninth. In moto two, I had another tough start, but I made it up to maybe sixth or seventh before I ended up crashing. I got back up and worked my way to around 10th. It was a tough day, but I'm going to keep my head up and focus on the things I can improve, mainly getting off the line better." Chase Sexton (1) ended Jett Lawrence's overall win streak after two strong rides, which included a first-moto win.
