His 4-2 scores gave him third overall, earning him the final podium spot. "I was battling with Jorge [Prado] there, and I just wanted consistently remains a front- runner. In moto two, the number 32 showcased his best per - formance as he tracked Jorge Prado early in the race before taking the lead on lap seven. Husqvarna's Landon Gibson won the opening moto of the day and looked to be running away with race two before a mechanical issue dropped him out of the race. "I struggled a lot in the first moto and made a few bike changes," said Gordon. "I'm going to be honest; I did not know Gibson's bike blew up. I thought I finished in third place, so now that I know I won, it's unreal. Last year was very unfortunate here, so to come back and get sort of lucky is really awesome." Briefly... Justin Cooper led laps in moto two and finished third overall in 450MX on the day.
