VOLUME 62 ISSUE 26 JULY 1, 2025 P109 ably tangle with the top two for more than just the briefest stints throughout the weekend). Bauman won by over a second and was well poised to claim overall honors in the third and decisive triple-points-paying main event. And it seemed certain to play out that way until Bauman suffered from a slip - ping clutch late, which allowed Daniels to surge past and grab ing and main-event one, in which the rising star had the clear measure of the field. That sense of security for the Yamaha pilot was turned on its head in the double-points paying main-event two. There Bau - man stomped forward from a seemingly fading third to power past Daniels and Mission Roof Systems' Brandon Robinson (the only other rider who could reli - walked away with a pair of podiums. But a mechanical DNF in Friday's main event three came as a major let- down after outdueling the otherwise dominant Tom Drane in main event two. Brunner continued to face an up- hill climb in terms of mechanical prob- lems throughout the doubleheader but still came away with a solid points haul. He said, "I had to dig deep for that one. We fought through some adversity this weekend. We did what we could with what we had, and I'm super proud of my whole Turner Flat Track Racing Honda [team] for get- ting my dialed in. It was nothing short of a miracle to get us back going, not one, not two, but three times." 44 BRANDON ROBINSON 3RD (3-3-2) / 3RD SUPERTWINS Mission Roof Systems' Brandon Robinson racked up a pair of podium finishes on the weekend and even showed the sprint speed not just to match, but defeat Dallas Daniels and Briar Bauman, as he did in Satur- day night's Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge. He said, "Overall, a solid weekend. We were the third-best team for most of the weekend. Dal- las and Briar put it on me tonight. I was there for a couple of laps. We essentially implemented the same changes we had for the Challenge, but it wasn't sustainable in the long run. Regardless, those guys whupped my butt. I was kind of in conservation mode until Declan poked a wheel under me. 'Whoa, I better get going.' I got back on the throttle and got the job done in third." MYOWNRACE
