19 JAMES OTT
9TH (8-8-12) /
5TH SUPERTWINS
G&G Racing's James Ott continues
to be poised for a breakout weekend
on the G&G Racing Yamaha. Lima
wasn't it, but a top five wasn't a bad
way to continue to tease that potential
even if he was less than satisfied with
his performance. He said, "Honestly,
all weekend I kind of rode like crap. I
was struggling quite a bit. We worked
on the bike all weekend. I worked
on myself as a rider, trying to figure
out how to basically friggin' drop my
balls. I was riding so bad all weekend.
The team put in so much work on the
bike, got it dialed. So, when the main
event came, I felt like that was the
best I rode all weekend, and the track
was so badass. Fifth place is what we
had, and I felt good at the end there.
So, it was a big turnaround for us. I
can't complain."
