the lead under these condi

tions was not ideal, as he
was navigating a course
with snow on the trail and
in the trees, making it tough
to maintain that position
up front. While ascending a
small granite face, Riordan
couldn't make it and fell
back, narrowly avoiding a
charging Hart behind him.
Riordan's misstep and an
additional rear brake issue
allowed Hart to take the
lead, enabling him to stay
up front for the entire first
lap. Hart felt comfortable
with his lead, as he didn't
have anyone close by, but
little did he know that Rocky
Mountain ATV Yamaha's
Cody Webb was less than
a minute behind. Webb
pushed against Hart, even
overtaking him in one sec
-
tion for the lead aboard his
one-off YZ265X. However,
Hart did not relent, reclaim
-
ing the lead after Webb
made a small mistake, hold-
ing onto it until the finish at
the end of the second lap.
Webb finished just 56 sec
-
onds behind Hart, marking
one of the closest finishes
of the season. Riordan
crossed the line in third
place, about nine minutes

Hart took the AMA West Hard
Enduro Championship and also
clinched the overall U.S. Hard
Enduro title with one round
still on the schedule.
Cody Webb challenged Hart
for the win. Webb ended up a
close second overall.
