Hart Wins Clinches U.S. Hard Enduro Title
F
MF KTM Factory Racing's
Trystan Hart capped off the
AMA West Hard Enduro Champi-
onship, Presented by Klim, with
another victory at the Donner
Hard Enduro on Saturday, June
21. The Donner race was round
nine of the 2025 Bullet Proof
Designs U.S. Hard Enduro Series,
Presented by IRC Tire, and part
of Brian Garrahan's Donner Chal
-
lenge weekend at the Donner Ski
Ranch in Norden, California. With
the win, Hart secured the West
and the overall AMA U.S. Hard
Enduro Championship titles.
Situated just 15 minutes from
Truckee and perched at 7000
feet in the Sierra Nevada Moun-
tains, the weather at this venue
has always been an unpredict-
able factor, and this year was
the wildest one yet. A couple
of hours before the race was
scheduled to start, a Summer
Solstice storm began to blanket
the mountain with snow and
hail, and it was then that light
-
ning struck within a mile, lead-
ing to a race start delay of two
hours. Once the storm cleared
and the lightning dissipated, the
conditions transformed from
late-spring dusty trails and dry
granite slabs to perfect loamy
dirt and slick granite surfaces.
Even though the race start
was delayed by two hours, this
unexpected storm created some
of the best racing conditions the
Donner Hard Enduro has ever
seen.
The race started with rows
of 20 racers, and it was Sherco
USA's Will Riordan who got the
WIND
IN THE
P42
Trystan Hart won a hard-
fought battle at the Donner
Hard Enduro.
