ROUND 3 / JUNE 7, 2025
THUNDER VALLEY MOTOCROSS / LAKEWOOD, COLORADO
P70
WHERE'S CHASE?
For the second race in a row,
Red Bull KTM's Chase Sexton
was nowhere to be seen. Sexton
and the team have remained
tight-lipped about his absence,
only stating that their star
rider would not be competing at
Hangtown following his first-
moto get-off at the Fox Raceway
opener three weeks ago, stating
that he was "banged up," in Sex-
ton's words. No specific injuries
were reported. KTM provided
no update on Sexton prior to the
Thunder Valley National, which
he did not attend, even to sign
autographs. Nor did KTM pro-
vide any updates on Sexton after
the Thunder Valley race, leav-
ing his fans and everyone else
wondering what was going on.
Even Sexton has been quieter
than usual on social media.

track, again struggled all week-
end, but a crash in the second
moto resulted in an early depar-
ture. "I went down at the top of
the track and tweaked my knee,
then I ended up going down
again and got trapped under my
bike for a bit," Anderson said.
"I didn't feel comfortable finish-
ing the race after that." After
finishing eighth in the first moto,
Prado went down in the second
moto. "We made some changes
to the bike for moto two, but I
