to win by 1.3 seconds and
extend his championship lead.
Vision Wheel M4 Ecstar
Suzuki's Tyler Scott took second
after Mathew Scholtz (Strack
Racing) ran wide in the chicane
while attempting a pass on
Jacobsen. Scholtz recovered to
finish third, seven-hundredths of
a second behind Scott.
The third Rahal Ducati of
Kayla Yaakov secured fourth
after running at the back of the
lead group, benefiting from a
collision between Scott and
Cameron Petersen (Celtic/
Economy Lube+Tire/Warhorse
HSBK Ducati). Petersen, who led
most of the race, ran off track
but rejoined to finish fifth.
A tight scrap for sixth saw
Teagg Hobbs (BPR Racing
Yamaha) edge out Jake Lewis
(BPR Racing) and Danilo Lewis
(Aftercare Scheibe Racing).
In the points, it's all to play for
as Herrin lies just two points off
Beaubier, 111 to 109, with Fong
third on 96.
