The bruiser class lived up to
its reputation at Road America
with a second race that will go
down as one of the most action-
packed in the class's history.
The weekend looked like
it was going to be a factory
Harley-Davidson clinic at their
home race as Kyle Wyman
scorched his way to pole, some
1.2 seconds up on teammate
Bradley Smith, with the third fac
-
tory Harley of James Rispoli 1.4
seconds off Wyman's
pace.
However, the form book went
out the window in the two-lap
Challenge race as Rispoli pulled it
out to take the win by two-tenths
last-corner pass but lost drive
on the exit, finishing 0.301 of a
second behind Davis.
Scott was fifth, 0.734 of a sec
-
ond back. Jacobsen's teammate,
Kayla Yaakov,
rode to a solitary
sixth, eight seconds adrift but
comfortably ahead of Lewis.
David Anthony claimed
eighth, followed by veteran Larry
Pegram (Team Hammer Suzuki)
in ninth. Torin Collins rounded
out the top 10.
In the points, Jacobsen has
a handy 20-point lead over
Scholtz, 126 to 106, with Scott
third on 80.

and his teammate Torin Collins,
David Anthony (ADR Motorsports
Suzuki) and Josh Hayes (BPR
Racing Yamaha). Davis crashed
early after contact with Scott but
remounted to finish 18th.
In race two, Davis would not
be denied. Davis and Petersen
led most of the 11-lap race and
were the front-runners in a five-
rider battle to the finish. Davis
took the win—his second career
Supersport victory—by 0.195 of
a second, redeeming himself
after Saturday's crash.
Jacobsen lacked a race-win

ning pace but managed third,
narrowly
beating championship
rival Scholtz, who attempted a
