First, There Was the Nevada 200...
N
ow there's also the Yankee
Fork Rendezvous.
Scot Harden, the legendary
off-road racer and co-founder
of the Motion Pro Nevada 200
Trailride, has announced a new
second multi-day off-road ride.
"From 1825 to 1840, trappers,
mountain men and adventure
seekers would meet each year
at a pre-determined location in
the Rocky Mountains to sell their
furs and hides, replenish sup
-
plies, party and reconnect with
each other,"
says Harden." The
event was known as 'The Ren-
dezvous.' Legendary names like
Kit Carson, Jim
Bridger, Hugh
Glass, William Henry Ashley and
Jacque La Ramee would come
together to sell their furs, swap
stories, engage in shooting con
-
tests, drink whiskey and gener-
ally have a good time.
"In
that same spirit, Harden

ney Smith present the Yankee

5-7, 2025, this three-day non-
competitive off-road motorcycle
trail ride has been in the planning
stages for two full years with
another 41 years of event plan
-
ning and coordination behind
it. A sister event
to the iconic
Motion Pro Nevada 200 Trailride,
the Yankee Fork Rendezvous
will combine epic trails, beauti-
ful scenery, historic destinations
and
great people, with parties,
