Two-time Grand National Champion Ricky Graham, who finished third in the Camel Pro Series final point standings, said the 1992 season was "a learning experience." Asked about the obvious lack of horsepower he contended with all year, Graham, who rode a FIG (Ed Fisher, Sarah Irby and Johnny Goad) Racing Honda, said "At the beginning of the year, Skip Eaken was building our engines and I wasn't happy with that because he's our competition. Johnny built the engines the rest of the year and he built them to last. I just wasn't able to draft pass guys like Parker and Carr. I've had the advantage before, so I understand it, but it was frustrating. But I believe it made me ride better, because I knew I couldn't make a mistake and then make up for it with horsepower. Yeah, it was a learning experience." Former dirt track racer and three-time World Champion road racer Wayne Rainey spectated at the Camel Pro Southwest Motorsports Chris D'Aluisio is making plans for 1993 and those plans include racing in the AMA/CCS 600cc Supersports class."I have an offer from this team to ride a 250, but I think I'd like to try a 600," D'Aluisio said at Texas World. ،؟'m not getting anywhere on a 250.
