ST. JUDE LOVE MOTO
STOP CANCER RACE
The Indianapolis round was
this year's St. Jude Love Moto
Stop Cancer race. The Love
Moto Stop Cancer partnership
between Supercross and St.
Jude is in its ninth year and has
helped raise over $2 million for
the organization that fights child-
hood cancer and keeps families
together during treatment. Many
teams and riders sported one-off
gear and graphics to celebrate
the partnership. These memo-
rabilia pieces will then be raffled
off to further support the St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital.
The auction will run through the
final round in Salt Lake City,
ending on Monday, May 13.

SAVATGY UPDATE
Joey Savatgy crashed out of the
450SX main event while running
eighth. "It's not really the way I
wanted to spend my Sunday,"
said from the hospital. "Bummed;
had a good night going and felt
like I hit the same line as the
laps prior. But clearly, I made a
mistake or something. Punctured
lung and some broken ribs. [The]
weekend off came at a good
time."

Cooper Webb earned his 28th
premier class win on Saturday
night, putting him in a tie with
Ricky Johnson... Preston Boesp-
flug suffered a hard crash during
250SX East qualifying and was
run over by another rider in the
