VOLUME 62 ISSUE 8 FEBRUARY 25, 2025 P67 "Plain and simple, I'm not fast enough," Roczen said. "I need to find a couple of tenths. I messed up the second start, which hurt me for the overall. Towards the end of race three, I was leading—Chase was a little bit faster—Cooper was a little bit faster. With these three races, a lot of things can happen, and I'll take a second lead. The Suzuki rider quickly dropped from first to fourth and watched an overall win slip away. To Roczen's benefit, Sex - ton's late-race crash bumped him up a spot and gave him the advantage for second overall by just one point. Roczen's still third in the championship standings, now 19 back from the lead. MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT Arlington marked the series' an- nual Military Appreciation round. Many teams showed their respects this year with one-off liveries and custom gear designs. The Monster Energy Kawasaki and Honda HRC Progressive teams were some of our favorites with their aircraft- inspired looks. View them here. THE NEXT VILLOPOTO Another Villopoto was on the line in Arlington, and this time on a KTM. No, not four-time Supercross Cham- pion Ryan Villopoto. This time it was his son, Brax Villopoto, who won the KTM Junior Supercross Challenge on the electric KTM SX-E5. SMITH UPDATE Jordon Smith crashed spectacularly out of the lead in the first 250SX main and did not line up for the rest of the night. Without scoring points, he drops to fifth in the series standings. "I'm beat up, but I'll be back," Smith said on Sunday. "I'm currently still in the hospital. I have four broken ribs, a punctured lung, and a small laceration in my spleen. They're monitoring me for a little longer and should be headed home in the morning. We will come back stronger. Also, huge thanks to the Alpinestars medical team for taking great care of me on the track and once we got back to the medic rig." Briefly... More mistakes for Sexton saw him go from first to third overall on the night. 2025 Arlington Supercross Video Highlights
