We had coverage of the Florida Winter National Olympics (aka Mini
O's) at Gatorback. Je— Willoh was the Expert winner until a scoring
error was discovered two days later that declared Jim Neese the
winner... The AMA/Suzuki National Trail Ride Series held its final ride
of the year, the L.A.-to-Barstow-to-Vegas dual sport ride. Nearly
400 riders participated... Alan Cathcart told us what it is like to ride
Scott Russell's World Superbike Muzzy Kawasaki... Mike LaRocco and
Jeremy McGrath shared wins at the Tokyo Supercross.
Ricky Carmichael was pictured on the cover 20 years ago for
winning the Toronto Supercross which was the opening round
of the THQ World Supercross Gran Prix Series... We rode the
new Triumph Daytona 600 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway...
We also rode the latest Honda CBR600RR... We had coverage
of the Baja 1000. Team Honda took the win with a three-rider
team: Johnny Campbell, Steve Hengeveld and Kendall
Norman... We interviewed Ducati N.A.'s Michael Lock.
