match last year's runner-up but
still landed on the podium with a
third behind Sweden and France.
Sophomore member Davis was
its standout performer and even
outrode some of his WT team-
mates in a few tests, with seventh
overall individual on day four
right behind Girroir, which was
a highlight. He ended up third in
E1 and 11th overall, sandwiched
between Toth and Girroir. But his
good tests were also balanced by
subpar ones, including one crash
late in the week that rang his bell.
Oliveira expressed a similar
view of his week. "I ride good
back home and everything; it's
just that this race, the guys are
