ending Sexton's seven-moto win
streak. But things seemed a lot
easier on paper. The Honda rider
continuously fought off attacks
from Sexton as the two yo-yoed
on opposite ends of the track.
Lawrence's patience and smooth
style paid off in the long run, as he
held on for the race win. His start
in moto two didn't pan out the
same, and he was forced to claw
ize on a good start and show my
sprint speed. I've been working
on it a lot these last three weeks
with Tom [Vialle] and I wanted to
show it and get a gap."
Hunter Lawrence debuted the
new 2025 Honda CRF450R at

37 MAX ANSTIE
5TH (3-8) 250MX
Max Anstie's podium in moto one set
him up for a top five overall. "It was a
solid moto one, with a third-place fin-
ish and a really good start," he said.
"We made a lot of big changes during
the break, and we were definitely in it
that first moto. In the second moto, I
messed up the start, but I came back
through the pack to eighth. It was
sketchy out there; it was fast. So, a
solid top five overall and good steps
in the right direction."
28 CHRISTIAN CRAIG
8TH (9-8) 450MX
Christian Craig continues to im-
prove in his recovery from injury and
finished inside the top 10. "Unadilla
was good for us," he said. "I qualified
good, sixth in the first session and
seventh in the final one, so my speed
was there. In moto one, I fought my
way up to ninth and was in the battle,
then in the second moto, I made a
few too many mistakes early and
got shuffled back. All in all, riding
was better, and my arm was in a
better spot today; things are coming
around."
MYOWNRACE
Levi Kitchen led the entire
second 250 moto.
