U.S. Enduro Vintage
Trophy Team Announced
T
he riders who will represent
the U.S. at this year's FIM Vin-
tage Enduro in Camerino, Italy—
the same location as the 1974
ISDT—have been announced.
ISDE legend Fred Hoess, who
has overalled this event every
time he has competed (2016,
2022 and 2023), will lead the
charge.
The U.S. Trophy Team will
consist of Hoess (1983 Husqvar
-
na 250WR), Billy Burns (1974
Can-Am 175 TNT), Marc Gross-
man (1978 Yamaha IT175), Seat
Concepts owner Lendon Smith
(1982 Husky 430), Mike Sheetz
(1975 Can-Am 175 TNT)
and ISDE veteran Chilly
White (1978 Bultaco
370).
A U.S. Club Team will
be competing, as well.
The Manufacturing Tech

nology and Services, LLC
Team will be made up of Ron-
nie Smith (1978 Maico 440 GS),
George Pennington (1979 Can-
Am 250 Qualifier) and James
Lubniewski (1977 Penton 175).
Two individual riders will also
compete: ISDE vet Robert John
-
son (1978 Husqvarna 390) from
Washington, Oregon; and Haim
Beressi (1977 Penton 175) from
Santa Barbara, California.
Suzy Moody will be the U.S.
Team Manager. Preston Petty
Products owner Paul Stannard
will be crewing for the Trophy
Team, while each rider will have
their own support crew.
