two-day race held at Indian Dunes in Valencia, California. Nancy Payne
was the overall champion... A 250cc International Motocross was held
in Baldwin, Kansas, where Czech Jaroslav Falta took the win over Kent
Howerton and Steve Stackable. In the 125cc National division, Can-Am's
Jimmy Ellis out-dueled Honda's Marty Smith for the overall victory... We
covered the San Jose Mile. Gary Scott, Mike Kidd and Hank Scott went
1-2-3... We also covered the Mammoth Mountain Motocross.
