Damon Hu'man made front-page news for winning the Minneapolis
Supercross at the Metrodome in the 125 class. Who else but Jeremy
McGrath won the 250 main event… We reported of the cancellation of
the Blackwater 100 o'-road race… Ricky Carmichael, Travis Pastrana,
Bobby Bonds, Johnny Marley, Kevin Windham and Casey Johnson were
some of the big winners at the World Minis in Las Vegas… We tested
the 1994 Honda VFR750F and decided that it does everything well and
was priced right at $8199.
Valentino Rossi was pictured wheelying on the cover after
winning the opening round of the MotoGP Series in South
Africa… Chad Reed landed his 10th win of the Supercross
series in Dallas, and Ivan Tedesco clinched the 125 West
Supercross West title… The Honda CBR1000R won our
Open-class Shootout… Je' Ward topped the STTARS
Supermoto at California Speedway... Around 1200 riders
showed up for the Hilltoppers MC's Wild West Grand Prix in
Twentynine Palms, California. The Ty Davis/Nathan Woods
duo won the Pro Team race.
