LOOKING BACK I
Freddie Spencer at speed was on the cover 40 years ago after
winning the Italian Grand Prix. We made note that he beat Kenny
Roberts by 20 seconds… Mike Healey and Eddie Hicks were the talk
of the town at the 13th World Mini Grand Prix at Saddleback Park.
Damon Hu'man was the top PeeWee, and other winners included
Jimmy Button, Chris Young, Jimmy Gaddis, Mouse McCoy and Mike
Fisher… Eric McKenna led a local rider sweep at the Shasta Dam
National Hare Scrambles.
