Oliveira To Factory Aprilia In 2024
T
he Trackhouse Aprilia Mo-
toGP team (formerly RNF
Aprilia) will see lead rider Miguel
Oliveira on a RS-GP24 machine
similar to the factory riders Aleix
Espargaro and Maverick Vinales.
It was looking as though
Oliveira would be on a RS-GP23
machine for the 2024 season as
the deadline for the application
for current-spec machinery had
long since expired, but Track
-
house has been given special
dispensation by Aprilia Racing
boss, Massimo Rivola to have
one of the latest machines in its
garage in 2024.
Oliveira was unable to test the
machine at the 2023 season-
ending Valencian test due to
damage suffered to his right
shoulder in a crash in Qatar but
will get his first taste of the 2024
Aprilia at the season-opening
test in Malaysia on February 6-8.
Teammate Raul Fernandez will
start the season with a 2023-
spec chassis fitted with the latest
engine and, depending on results,
will be moved to a full 2024
Aprilia later in the season.

There have been several first-time Supercross premier-
class winners at Anaheim, but none as a rookie until now.
Jett Lawrence has that honor.
Miguel Oliveira is a happy man now
that he's got a factory Aprilia for 2024.
