his way up to third ahead of Bez-
zecchi, with Espargaro, Miller,

race was formally declared with
full points awarded.
Jorge Martin took the win,
closing another five points to
back straight to retake the lead.
Bagnaia worked his way
past Espargaro for second on
lap seven and Bezzecchi had
Miguel Oliveira (CryptoDATA
RNF MotoGP Team Aprilia) and
Marquez for company as the
rain really started to lash down.
Conditions grew even worse
over the next five minutes and
on the 13th of 24 laps, the race
organizers, seeing the bikes
aquaplaning, visibility reduced
to almost nothing, and crashing
to destruction at the hands of
Johann Zarco, decided to pull
out the red flag.
At this stage they still had the
aim of restarting once condi

tions improved but this proved
