Gillim had his hands full early on with Indian Motorcycle/Pro- gressive/Mission Foods's Tyler O'Hara, who was leading when he had a mechanical problem that forced him off track and out of the race. Bobby Fong (Sac Mile/SDI Racing/Roland Sands/Indian) won on Sunday, but a second place for Gillim put him at the top of the championship leader - ports' Nolan Lamkin was fourth with Travis Wyman Racing's Travis Wyman rounding out the top five. Ezra Beaubier was sixth on his Orange Cat Racing BMW, despite getting a five-second penalty for jumping the start. Gillim has moved to within eight points of championship leader Beaubier. KING OF THE BAGGERS Gillim's success at Brainerd didn't end in Stock 1000 as the wins kept coming in the King of the Baggers. Aboard the Vance leader Ezra Beaubier. Gillim won again Sunday. His effort was a carbon copy of his race on Saturday. Gillim jumped off the line and led by the time the pack got to turn three. From there he never looked back and ultimately won by 8.9 seconds over De Keyrel. Benjamin Smith Racing's Benjamin Smith was third in his first weekend in the class and his first weekend on his Yamaha YZF-R1.
