pretty. I was throwing my bike
here, throwing it there and after
a couple of sketchy moments, I
said you know what, I am going
to cruise this one out."
Bulgaria's Teodor Kabakchiev
had an amazing week in Roma
-
nia to win the second and fourth
days of racing and finish third
overall. He could have possibly
challenged Hart and Lettenbi
-
chler for the top steps if he did
not lose so much time on day
one, when he gave up an hour
and 12 minutes to Lettenbichler
and 49 minutes to Hart. A large
chunk of that time loss was due
to a 30-minute penalty for going
off the course. He ultimately
finished an hour and 24 minutes
behind the winner and 15 min
-
utes behind Hart.

(Above) Hart finished sixth on the fourth day and second overall for the
event. This was the Canadian's first podium finish at Romaniacs.
(Below) Lettenbichler finished second on the final day, but that was
plenty to take the overall after four tough days of racing.
