YEARS AGO JULY , Ricky Graham won back-to-back Miles at the Syracuse doubleheader, and made it onto the cover 30 years ago. It was also his fifth consecutive win, which was at the time the longest winning streak in GNC history... The 250cc World Championship Motocross visited Budds Creek MX Park, where Stefan Everts took the overall win in the three-moto format race. Mike Kiedrowski took second, just missing out on the overall win... Doug Polen won the AMA Superbike at Road Atlanta... Andreas Meklau and Giancarlo Falappa were double winners for Ducati at the Austrian WorldSBK. We featured a little bit of everything on cover 20 years ago, all from Laguna Seca, though. We had Reuben Xaus and Pier- Francesco Chili splitting wins in WorldSBK, Je' Ward winning the opening AMA Supermoto round, and Matt Mladin winning AMA Superbike... In England, Valentino Rossi won at Donington Park, but Max Biaggi got the first-place points. Rossi was later penalized two positions for passing under the yellow flag... Stefan Everts recorded his 61st career GP win in MX at Uddevalla, Sweden.
