on power and you could tell

change in elevation. I'm definitely looking forward to getting
back to near sea level and get-
ting some of that power back."
Due to the high scores on
Saturday, the organizers eased
up the sections for Sunday's
event, however, that didn't
change the outcome much, as
Smage once again dominated
the competition. His main challenge coming at section six,
which featured a big splatter followed by another big step with
no run and a big drop off. This
section was also near the top
of the mountain, so the bikes
were a bit down on power.
"The best I could hope for
was a three on each of my
rides, and it took everything I
had to make it through," said
