Ty Masterpool ran up front in both
motos until two freak accidents ruined
his day. "Good day, just had some
tough luck," he said. "I was running
second most of the moto, then hit
[Adam] Cianciarulo's bike with a few
minutes to go and did a front flip
which banged up my bike pretty bad.
Second moto had another really good
start and was in second. We made
some suspension changes. I was
feeling really good but then unfortu-
nately my bike blew up."

RJ Hampshire rode to a moto podium
but finished outside the top five in
moto two, giving him fifth overall. In
the first moto, I got out to a decent
start and used the whole moto to
climb up to third. In the second moto,
I got another decent start and was
inside the top ten, but I ended up get-
ting caught up in my teammate and
went down early."
