The Monster Energy Star Racing Ya- maha rider executed early with a win in the regional heat race. He came into the final race nearly tied with Enzo Lopes for third in the series points. Kitchen stayed close to the front but eventually lost the tow of the front runners, Lawrence and Hampshire. His efforts resulted in a third-place finish which secured his spot in the overall championship over Lopes. "Coming in [to the season] I didn't really know what to expect," Kitchen said.
