THRASHER CRASH
Nate Thrasher went into the
250SX East main event with
confidence after winning his heat
race over teammate Jordon Smith
and Jeremy Martin, but suffered
a big crash four laps from the
end while running fourth behind
Haiden Deegan. Thasher had
to be helped off the track via a
stretcher. (See Wind page 34 for
the latest on Thrasher's condi-
tion.) Thrasher held down second
in the championship going into
Atlanta is now fourth.
TWO-STROKE LESHER
A two-stroke squeaked into the
450SX main event. Jared Lesher,
from Canton, Georgia, rode
an FMF/SLJ Services-backed
Yamaha YZ250, nabbing the final
transfer spot with a fourth in the
450SX LCQ. He went on to place
20th in the main.

MILLER TIME
Henry Miller of Rochester, Min-
nesota, finished a career-best
sixth in the 250SX East main.
The Ti-Lube/Storm Lake Honda
rider, who trains with Alex Mar-
tin, said, "P6 on the day, another
career best and looking forward
to keeping that momentum roll-
ing." Miller is fighting for a top
10 in the championship. He's
Roczen made
his third podium
appearance of
the year.
